10.00 (excellent) | So much to love about this series! The setting leaves so much room for interpretation and, obviously, expansion. The art is amazing and the music, being done by Yuki Kajiura, is fittingly epic. The plot actually focuses on moving the story forward instead of being filled up with action sequences, though I'll grant you that there was room for more of those just by virtue of the setting. It was paced in such a way that the audience could almost be one of the characters themselves, in that the plot is revealed with very little foreshadowing. That was a major hook that kept me watching episode after episode. Like I said, there's a lot to love about this series, and it will forever remain one of, if not my top, favorites.

10.00 (excellent) | Out of all of Bee Train's works, this is by far my second favorite (topped only by .hack//SIGN), for all the reasons I've already mentioned about the series they've done. It's top notch!

10.00 (excellent) | Bee Train again. Gotta say, they do great work! If you've seen even one of their other series, don't stop there! Check the rest out, too! Madlax is no exception. It's just so -awesome-!

10.00 (excellent) | Whoo! This is a -fun- one! By far the most -epic- magical girl series I've ever seen, -bar none-. It's a -lot- better than the title suggests. Believe me, the title put me off from the series, too, but once I sat down and actually watched it...! Seriously, it's mind-blowingly awesome!

10.00 (excellent) | The first of Bee Train's Girls With Guns trilogy, and definitely a keeper. This one'll make you think. It has all the hallmarks of a great series: Great art, great music, and great plot. It's actually been a few years since I last saw it all (which kind of boggles my mind when I stop to think about it), so I'll definitely have to rewatch it to get the details fresh in my head again. |
